Great Barrington House
Currently my home, office and studio, this 1600 square foot building is clad entirely in metal and set on a steel armature. The deck is cantilevered on steel beams six feet out from the living room. The intent of this house is multifold: energy conservation, efficient design, minimum maintenance and, most importantly, as a perfect armature for my own life and activities. It is my belief that a house should fit your lifestyle and not, as is usually the case, the other way around.
